About me

I’m Kerry. I live in the Washington, DC suburbs with my husband, our three children, my mother, a goldendoodle, and a mal-shi puppy.

I work as an administrator for a large DC think tank, and also as the executive director for a small hypothermia homeless shelter. I have a Ph.D. in American Literature. My dissertation looked at the ways in which spiritual quest narratives were coded in modernist novels of the so-called secular age, and in some ways that’s still my project today–looking for the ways that the divine sneaks into our everyday lives.
